 Szechaun Beef Stir Fry

Ingredients:

3/4 pound flank beef
1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
2 garlic cloves minced
1/2 cup bamboo shoots
1 teaspoon corn flour
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 onion, sliced
1/2 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons hot chili sauce
teaspoon sesame oil
vegetable oil as required

Preparation:

1. Mix the corn flour, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, beef in a bowl and set aside for 20 minutes.Reserve the marinade.
2. Heat the wok to high and add 2 tablespoons oil.Add the beef and stir fry for 3 minutes or until browned and almost cooked then remove.
3. Stir-fry the garlic, pepper, bamboo shoots and onion slices for 2 minutes.
